A structured lesson workspace with readable content, hands-on examples, and a clean path to completion.
Network Access is 20% of the exam. It's the second-most weighted domain after IP Connectivity. The high-yield topics within it: VLAN configuration and verification (very common), STP port roles and states (a favorite for scenario questions), EtherChannel requirements (LACP vs. PAgP modes), and wireless fundamentals (channels, security types, architecture).
Two common traps in this domain: (1) counting broadcast/collision domains — remember switches don't change broadcast domains, VLANs do, and routers create broadcast domains per interface; (2) EtherChannel load balancing — a single flow uses one link, not all links. If a question asks about bandwidth for a single transfer over a 4-link bundle, the answer is one link's worth, not the aggregate.
Run through a mental drill: for each topic in the high-yield list, ask yourself if you could explain it to a junior engineer in 60 seconds. Any topic where you hesitate — go back to the relevant lesson. The exam rewards fluency, not familiarity.
Finish the lesson once you have worked through the material. This awards ★ 45 XP.
